Joe Baker

During the last 8 to 9 years Joe has been consciously driven to do something interesting within the vast universe that is artistic practice. Creating work using various media with the addition of unique studio production. Touching on experimental video, animation, illustration, digital photography, and photographic manipulation. Joe's work attempts to find a balance between reality and artificiality, often looking for a cohesive mix between hidden and overtly apparent aspects of genuine and false realities. 2009 brought the end of Joe's honours degree in Visual Media and since then has been working towards the beginning of his Masters course in Berlin.

In the mean time Joe has been throwing all sorts of personal projects together including live visual performance and promotional design for the Dank Morass DJ collective, and of course some graphic delights for the Bookery Cook!
